For all those that seem to think Paul is a pro in disguise, please realise the following. - Bath Opera is an amateur opera company staging a small number of productions a few times each year. - Paul has performed in just 4 four productions with this company - Paul has attended some masterclasses in Italy. These courses are designed for talented amateurs. All of these are paid for by those attending. - A few masterclasses, even one with the great man do not constitute "a formal opera training" by any stretch of the imagination. - Professional opera singers earn their living by treading the boards night after night week-in week-out, year after year with professional opera companies. - Paul, has never earned a single penny from opera performance, other than winning a tv talent show in 1999 - the winnings funding masterclasses. - Paul has not performed since 2003. - He is not a professional opera singer pretending to be a mobile phone sales man, but rather he is a mobile phone salesman aspiring to be an opera singer. - An operatic voice IS a trained voice. Hmmmm, perhaps if I can buy a few classes at a pro cookery school, I can pass myself off as a highly experienced pro chef.....hmmmmm......

    Naja er hatte schon eine klassische Gesangsausbildung die er sich in Italien leistete und das vor dem Contest! Er wurde schon vor dieser Sendung in die Meisterliga der Tenöre aufgenommen aber er war halt nicht bekannt. Doch auch für mich ist es eine einzigartige iterpretation und jemand der noch viel vor sich haben wird. Wenn er denn nicht wieder fallen gelassen wird, wie viele andere vor ihm. Doch definitiv einzigartig diese Stimme. Absoluter Wiedererkennungswert

    Mal ehrlich, die deutsche DSDS - Kacke hat 6 Millionen Euro gekostet. Und die englische Version? Ganz einfach gestrickt, Moderatoren aus normalen Menschen und „kleine Stars" Auf der Bühne, die am meisten Aufmerksamkeit bekommen. Kompliment an England für diese Art der Unterhaltung. Gratulation an Potti , hoffentlich kommt er mal nach Good old Germany!

    sehe dieses video nun zum 100. mal und bin immer und immer wieder völlig sprachlos. Der bisher beste Beweis, das diese Castingshows ihre Berechtigung haben. Nur durch einen Paul Pots gelingt es mir über all die gecasteten Nieten aus Deutschland hinweg zu sehen.

    Ich habe mir Nessun Dorma mehrmals auch gesungen von Carreras, Domingo, Pavarotti, Del Monaco und Bocelli angehört. Es ist der Tag, an dem auch der Name "Potts" in einem Atemzug mit ihnen genannt werden darf. Danke Paul.

    Uhahhhhhhhh..... Potti ist der beste! Traumhaft, welche Emotionen da erweckt werden. In einer kaputten Welt tut sowas echt gut. Kann mich gar nicht an „Nessun Dorma" sathöhren. Ps. Sein Album One Chance ist keine Altagsfliege im Gegenteil, sehr empfehlenswert. EINFACH NUR COOOOOOOOOOOOL... Potti is the best ONE! Say hello from Good old Germany! Love and peace!
