    Me and my friend are learning this partly for fun, partly for a dance and also for fun. We can do the basic rolls fine, but as we roll my friend hits the small of her back really really hard, is it how shes psitioning her arms?? Any help would be awesome

    Sorry I forgot to add, you can also wear a beanie style hat, the hat and the hoodie will help with cushioning your head,neck and shoulders...

    Also when rolling indoors wear maybe a sweater and a hoody over that, once you feel use to do the roll take the hoody off and once your use to that take off the sweater and wear maybe just a t shirt. The same can be used for training rolls outdoors. I started with three layers a t shirt,sweater and a hoodie, then when i got use to it i just reduced my layers now I can roll using a t shirt only :-)
