I honestly didn't think the new film was that bad... you have to consider that Indiana Jones films deal with themes of the period in which it is set. For instance World War II and Hitler's obsession with the search for supernatural and religious artifacts to use as weapons. Well in the 50's the concept of UFO's were an issue of the period and everyone feared that KGB were experimenting with extra terrestrial technology to use against the capitalist world. Still true to the heart of Indy.

EVERYONE! ABANDON YOUR COMPUTERS! THERE'S A BOULDER COMING THIS WAY! That's the kind of effect that this theme has

Not really. Before WWII, Hitler DID have teams of archeologists in sites like Tibet, Egypt, The Middle East. One thing he was into, was the concept of the 'Master Race.' You won't find it in any textbooks, but he was into the occult, astrology, and other psudeosciences. He wanted anything that would prove the existance of the 'Master Race.' Though i don't think he was looking for the Arc of the Covanent.

Shia LaBouf is a good actor in his own way. I personally can't see him replacing Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, but MAYBE a spinoff. Like the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. Ya never know.

Very well played. I could go into the whole psychology behind phobias, but where would the fun be in that. So, I'm just gonna nod my head in agreement

Agreed. You gotta listen. And not justlisten, FEEL. You have to feel the music flow through you. As it lights the fire of heroics and adventure, it just makes you wanna jump up, grab a hat, and go bust up some Nazis.

it was - up until they miraculously survived three 500 foot waterfall drops and it turned into a sci-fi movie. I love Indiana Jones, but that movie totally bombed, sorry dude
