One of the most amazing guitar solos. He performs this one different every time, but this one is a favorite of many of his fans. If you like it, then go to johnbutlertrio.com and check out his albums. Enjoy! (This video WAS previously submitted to YouTube, but the submitter had trouble with getting the audio and video to sync up correctly. I didn't have this problem, so I figured I'd submit it myself.) For those wanting to own this video, go to http://www.awarestore.com/index.php?op=view_item&item_id=14360 and buy it. It comes with John Butler's best live recording and the DVD containing this video along with a few others, and it's only $15. I will no longer be giving this video out to people who ask for it, so please buy the CD instead. Thanks.

i don't know, and i'm no expert but it looks like it was originally a 12 string. it looks like one of the tuning knobs was taken out. you can look at 2:24. but like i said i'm no expert.

actually I think it's an 11-stringed guitar! If you look on top of the guitar, there's only 11 screws.

I think it's built to be a 11 stringed guitar. Couse if you look at the tuning knobs or what you call em' There is only 11.

you could just say it was originally 12 string but now is deffs 11 string. look at the number of twisty things on the neck/head (i'm good at guitar anatomy). there are 11. then look at the number of pin things on the bridge. 11 (but probs originally 12, seeing as one is missing) and that's my story.

If anybody is wondering what guitar he is using and has been using for roughly 10 years... Unlike daddypa4's comment lol it isn't made that way It is questioned to be either a MATON-M425/12 or CW80/12.. i personally believe it is a M425/12 because of the rosette and black pickguard, plus the back and sides are a dark colour.. This is because there made from Aussie walnut and the top is 'A' sitka spruce.. set you back around $1899 dollars AU with the AP5 pickup system

  21. by Davine — @ 02:07:44

It's an 11 string guitar. Check 1:36 and count the number of strings in the Bridge.
