    i know this comedy might be out of the ordinary to most of you, but it's fairly typical flemish (dutch-speaking belgians) comedy... surreal realism. ;)

    stop thinking this is real when the proof is so easily found: in de gloria. search for it. don't insult us (& yourselves) by thinking this is an accurate depiction of a belgian talkshow... we have a bit more taste than that, and the setdesign is so overly tacky that it should be obvious how over the top this is when you keep in mind that belgium is a wealthy western-european country.

    helemaal niet... NIKS is echt, erik hartman wilden ze niet weg want die man bestaat helemaal niet. daar gaat de sketch dan ook over lol.... zoek gewoon achter in de gloria op youtube, dan zie je andere skits van dezelfde show & met veelal dezelfde acteurs. it's a skit from in de gloria about a fictional talkshow and the fictional talkshow that ruined his fictional career.... erik hartman = played by tom van dyck.

    ALL skits from in de gloria are spoofs on reality tv. boemerang is just one of many of those skits... erik hartman doesn't exist, he's played by comedian tom van dyck. the guests are lucas van den eynde (valére), an miller (marijke) and franck focketyn (guy in audience). so.. once more... search for IN DE GLORIA or TOM VAN DYCK on youtube for more clips, or on wikipedia and imdb for more info & relevant links.

    i take it you don't understan dforeign comedy... the fictional host erik hartman talking about his failed career *is* the sketch! we understand him all too well, we're from the same country... hence we speak the language, know the actors from other roles, and know the comedyshow this sketch is from: IN DE GLORIA.
