I believe rap was used as a tool to communicate what it was like to be a black person living in America. Once rappers got their message out it's "Now what?" They said all the important stuff now the new young rappers just don't understand what it's all about. Rappin' about the shit I mentioned in my last post.
Rappers had stuff to say back then if you know what I mean but after they spoke thier mind, rap went staight downhill. No message just mindless rap about jewelry, cars with 28 inch rims and shit like that.
