This week's episode is about how some parents love their culture so much that even if it conflict with Islam, they will continue to practice it. How can we complain about the situation of the Muslims if we love the parts of our culture that conflict with Islam more than we love Allah (swt)? We can't.

    I was the same. Raised by an agnostic father who was antagonistic towards Islam, a religion he was entirely unfamiliar with. He almost succeeded in passing it on to me. If it weren't for the Baha'is, I probably would never have come to accept Islam as a Divine faith.

    I am adding this to my favorites. This is exactly what I've been saying for ages. And I'm sure just as you've seen on the thousands upon thousands of comments on your videos, Western society and non-Muslims in general get this very impression, that these cultural practices clung to by many supposed Muslims get packaged with and called Islam. And you'll see people quoting obscure bits of questionable Hadith they've never read trying to circumvent the teachings of the Quran to change Islam.

    Well it was put to me that god could MAKE us all beleive but he wants us to choose him...and if we dont where going to hell if he can make us make the right decision and lets us suffer because we made the wrong one id hardly say they are the actions of a loving being. so id say yes very sadistic and their god possibly is too. But I never knew the jewish faith was like that i assumed it was the same as the rest of them :O

    That's why IMO Judaism is the best out of the desert monotheisms, at least the reformed Jews. Deistic god, be a good person, no hell, family ties. The other 2 are too sadistic in many ways.

    One thing dont understand is the fact they all say I will burn for not beleiveing in X diety. But What if I am leading a decent life? would whatever hypothetical diety go through the cosmic cheaklist and say you have met the requirements for entry EXCEPT you didnt directly beilieve in me now you must suffer, just doesnt sound right they all say their sire is loving and forrgiving yet that is the end result? either he/she/it is or isnt.

    I when I said 'in your face' I basically just meant proselytizing, sorry for the confusion. Because most religions essentially want to remove very basic components of human nature, rather than working with them. This is why IMO Epicureanism is a better life philosophy than most religions. Yeah, the hell thing is simply metaphysical death threats IMO, strange that some people would choose to live in fear like that.

    Krishnas are essentially harmless but they are very lairy and in your face. Any religion is good in theory its the in practice part that they often fail in. Also woth noteing its the overzelous members that ruin the whole thing for the rest of them babbah ali here mixes a religious lession with humor which i view is fine but like i have encounterd online some muslims tell me i will burn and so on for not bowing to allah can really be off putting.
