    But than it's like running a Mac, just to be different is the only point. For example who do you telephone when your linux just fall down the ladder? Even if you all hate Microsoft and Vista, for me it runs very stable, and I don't have to make experiments to get usual things done. Linux is great for thin fast systems, but its just a better unix. How long does it take to get driver for devices? And sorry their quality is very embaressing since nobody is responsible or earning money.

    maturity, little kids who are not willing to share ... are immature. Oh and you cannot name one "other option for and OS" .. in which a Linux distro would fail .. oh and did you know you can run wow on a Linux desktop? Its just that the game developer community so far have had a better audience on Microsoft, but Vista seems to drive away a lot of users to try alternatives, such as Debian GNU/Linux, everyone should try, you don't have to be Einstein to run Debian nowadays really!

    Yeah, you just have to depend on pimply-faced elitists to write decent faqs and drivers for devices that linux doesn't know how to use. And depend on never being able to truly run games with a linux box...or being truly compatible with the rest of the world. Don't get me wrong, Linux can be a very powerful SERVER os. But it fails in just about every other option for an OS...especially the overall maturity of its user base.

    Dude! run Debian GNU/Linux ... because then you do NOT have to depend on "luck today" to get things done. Free software respects users rights. I would vote for it on civilization type one computer base-system.
