    To be able to KNOW the effect on the ecosystem and the importance of saving lions for futre generations to learn and know...you would have to examine the place and the situation as an OUTSIDER. These people have lived with lions for so many years, they dont care much abt them. Besides, they never had the sophistication that we do in the west in science and technology. That doesn't make them stupid compared to us though. They were simply ok with what they had.
