On and of all the battles that exist in the in the natural world none is more titanic than lions versus elephants. Being a social animal the African lion is more than a super predator, it's a hyper predator, and most would probably believe it is the ultimate predator. In the African plains forest and savannas the African elephant usually lives without rivals, its far stronger than a rhino or hippo and is up to 40 times bigger than a lion. However there is so rivalry between these two ultimate enemies and these videos showcase the lion's as king of the beasts.

    I hate cats too. I love oliphants, and yeah this poor one in the vid was only medium sized and all alone against 10 lions in the dark. Pretty unfair.

    I hate cats. Look at how many lionesses it took to bring down a small/medium sized elephant. The elephant should've taken one or two of them down by stomping and squashing them flat until their brains pop out!

    I saw an elephant throwing a lion with its trunk...! The lion almost flew away! It was awesome... I love elephants...! I like lions, but they're coward...! And at all, it's not Lions x Elephants... it should be: One Elephant x 40 lions!

    What you rarely if ever see is lions being killed. You can't pretend that no lion has ever been gouged by the tusks of an elephant or the horns of a cape buffalo or rhinocerous. They are one of the largest land predators and need to hunt in packs. There is nothing special about this cat, but they make sure that you never see the carnivorous mammal beaten.
